LOTO procedures are grouped below into two searchable categories:

• General LOTO Procedures – These procedures are for common, similar equipment with local isolation point(s) such as a knife switch, circuit breaker, or valve.
• Equipment Specific LOTO Procedures – These procedures are for unique pieces of equipment or equipment that does not have local isolation devices.

Search tips:

• Be sure to check both categories of procedures (General and Equipment Specific) when searching for a procedure. 
• You can search by building name, building number or asset ID.
• Partial searches are enabled.  You don’t need to enter the exact name, number or asset ID.
• If you are unable to locate a procedure, please contact your supervisor.
• If the equipment you are working on does not have a procedure or changes need to be made to an existing procedure, please contact your EHS Rep.

General LOTO Procedures

These are procedures (40+) for common, similar equipment located throughout the campus. Search by common name, such as pump, fan, heater, chiller etc. Click on the link to download the procedure.

Equipment Specific LOTO Procedures

These are asset specific procedures which apply to unique equipment within a building. Searching by building is probably the easiest method.  You can also search by asset ID if you have that information..  Click on the link to download the procedure.
