Safety Training

Safety Training

Training at the University of Michigan (U-M) is a critical element for ensuring personnel safety. Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) offers online training presentations, instructor-led training, and customized training. Some training is required based upon the work you do here at the University, and the specific hazards you might encounter as a part of your job. You must register for and complete these courses.

See the Safety Training chapter in the CSP for a checklist to determine training needed for staff.  A New Hire Safety Training Checklist is also available to document training. Other training is voluntary and is available in the Multimedia Resources section.
