Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for inspecting and licensing campus pools and spas. Because harmful organisms can reside in poorly maintained water, the inspections ensure that the water quality is suitable for swimming.

Drinking Water
University of Michigan (U-M) properties that use wells as the source of drinking water are sampled on a periodic basis to assure safe water quality.
