EHS manages programs to safeguard people on campus from exposure to pests, mold, lead, asbestos, and other hazardous materials that may be present.
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) assists in ensuring all employees, students, and visitors are safe when on the University of Michigan (U-M) campus. U-M has agreements with the State of Michigan and Washtenaw County for EHS to oversee food, pool, fire prevention, and community health programs. In addition, EHS manages programs to safeguard people on campus from exposure to pests, mold, lead, asbestos, and other hazardous materials that may be present.
