All U-M faculty, staff, students and other employees are responsible for learning about the risk factors in their workplace and implementing the associated precautions to prevent injuring themselves and others. Workplace risk factors include:
- Respiratory hazards
- Physical hazards
- Equipment hazards
- Ionizing radiation
EHS helps ensure the U-M remains in compliance with rules and regulations pertaining to worker safety.
